Perhaps that is the reason when one has to be updated (as we have seen repeatedly with Narai), it takes one or two game updates to have it back. It looks like creating a new op is somewhat "handcrafted", with scripts and so on. While I do not know for real how scenario operations are built, other players with some contact with the developers have given me hints about it. Why do not give them the scenarios where to play them? Also, after a few years one gets bored of such standard battle/domination/epicenter. There are a lot of premium ships, specially at higher tiers that are bought by such players. PVE players love them - and PVE players are too often made by mature/senior members with a higher acquisitive power (money to spend) that simply don't like the pressure and the behaviors (insults, incivilization) seen in competitive play modes (ranked/clan). The point is that operations allow up to 7 players to div and play together and have fun in a relaxed environment (a clan battle is not a relaxed environment). Actually, more operations existed but they were retired (Dynamo, Cherry Blossom.). Currently, there are only 4 tier 6 operations and 1 tier 7 operation. WOWS is a game with a lot of potential which is not exploited.įor example, there is the case of operations.
